Late last Friday night we received the sudden and extremely sad news that one of our two gorgeous boxer girls, Billie, had been put to sleep.
We had been made fully aware of her health issues and her new treatment when we took over Billie from one of our ex walkers last November.
And yet you can never be prepared for such heartbreaking news.
Despite being ill Billie always approached every day and every walk with huge positivity, play and happiness.
This is true to the extent that she was bouncing around happily in the woods Thursday morning with the gang and still loving each second.
This morning her constant energy and joy were noticeably absent from her usual Monday adventure.
It is a poignant reminder to make the most of every day and every walk with our dogs.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to her wonderful owners, Nina and Helge, at this tough time
