Nestled away at the far end of Maridalen you will find Maridalsalpene.
4 hills rise up from the valley bottom and create a huge ridge to the North. They are a playground for skiers, hikers, cyclists and dogs alike.
Steeped in history there are amazing hikes to be had and stunning views if you feel up to it.
We regularly use these mountains as a base for our adventures. Plane wreckage, abandoned stone cabins, former logging rivers…. The elements of discovery and exploration are forever around you.
Today, seeing that the ski tracks are now redundant, I decided that it was time to return.
As we ran and played we meandered our way up into the hills. They did not disappoint and the doggies absolutely loved it.
