This afternoon I found myself walking alongside a river.
In many places the river was frozen on top but you could hear the running water underneath.
The river entered its narrow section and the speed of flow increased the ice had not yet been able to form in the fastest sections.
It was stunningly beautiful with a backdrop of snow and sunshine.
It was quite bitterly cold but the dogs had been running in order to get their body heat up.
As we took a quick pause after our jog I took this little video which I hope will bring you both joy and peace.
It was very zen-like and the dogs suddenly fell silent instead of chaotically playing and running as usual.
