I just want to take this opportunity to celebrate World Mental Health Day.
Modern life and Societal pressures aren’t always easy. Sometimes it can feel like things spiral out of your control or you might simply be overwhelmed with tasks and responsibilities.
I want to very much emphasize that it is okay to be vulnerable and it is okay to ask for help. If you feel that things are becoming too much then there is absolutely no shame in seeking help. It is much braver to do that than to deny the problem or suffer with it alone.
Remember that Dogs are fantastic listeners. Whilst they may not give too much advice, their presence should improve your mood. If you combine with this a good dog walk in nature then hopefully you will feel better than before.
In many 1st world countries Doctors are now prescribing walks in nature to help combat mental health disorders.
And yet the stats don’t lie with every year more and more people.. and younger and younger people being diagnosed with mental health illnesses.
So maybe it is time to look at the root causes of the problem instead of simple diagnosis, treatment and medication?
