You may well think that I have just typed some random letters in to form today’s title.
Alas, no today I will be writing about the Japanese concept of Ikigai.
Ikigai is based on 4 simple factors:
1. What you love
2. What you are good at
3. What the World needs
4. What you can get paid for
Here is a little diagram to demonstrate

Ikigai is at the heart of what we do. We like to believe that we tick all the boxes (or circles).
Ikigai gives you a sense of purpose and motivation and excitement to get up and go to work each day.
It pushes us forward, trying to continually learn and improve.
What is your Ikigai? Have you found yours yet? Where on the diagram are you currently?
I thoroughly recommend that you read more about Ikigai if it would interest you.
