Simplicity

When did life get so complicated?

Simplicity has become sought for and elusive because the modern age is so noisy and abundant.

We crave simplicity not because we are simple but because we are drowning in our complexity.

Certainly the arrival of the mobile phone did not help, though it is very useful in certain situations.

I would argue that the Old School Nokia from the late 90s was it’s peak usefulness. A battery that lasted 7 days, the ability to phone people, a limit of 10 stored sms messages…. And snake to keep you entertained and frustrated.

So why am I writing about simplicity today?

Simplicity is essentially what we try to deliver.

We are not trying to sell you dog food, dog leads, dog training, dog grooming, dog toys and whatever else we could try to persuade you that you desperately need…. We do dog walking…. And i like to think we are pretty damn good at it (though we are always learning and improving).

Focusing on the singular task and goal delivers better results.

Better dog walks lead to happier dogs and therefore happier clients.

Dedicated, focused, simple.

It is not rocket science and therefore does not need to be made into it.
