If like me you suffer from pollen allergies, you will no doubt have noticed the need for medication since last week.
After a long Winter we have been spared the usual April allergy start, but it came along pretty much as soon as May kicked off.
All the signs are very much there.
Regularly waking up half an hour before my alarm goes off with a blocked nose and itchy eyes.
My first duty of the morning includes eye drops, nasal spray and an antihistamine tablet.
Give it 10 to 15 minutes and I am a functioning person once again along with my morning coffee.
Being able to breathe and see are two quite vital aspects to both my work and life.
With the warnings of a long, hot and dry summer this looks like a pollen type of year.
The flipside of this is that the woods are in a full growth mode and coming into bloom in spectacular style.
