The expression “Dog Days” is a confusing one. The Oxford Language Dictionnary defines it as “a period of decline or inactivity”.
Our Dog Days could not be more different. The Dog Days we have are a blur of exploring, fun and running around. Certainly a lot of activity from all the pups whether playing, sniffing or just rolling in the decreasing remnants of a snow Winter.
The sunshine of late has given a little extra bounce into the steps of both dogs and walkers… adventuring under the rays from the sun, whilst watching the woods burst to life in the space of a few short days.
Driving through Oslo and you could be mistaken for thinking that it is mid Summer….. people out sunbathing in the parks, packed outdoor tables at every café and a general air of people emerging from a long cold Winter.
