Dog Days

The expression “Dog Days” is a confusing one. The Oxford Language Dictionnary defines it as “a period of decline or inactivity”.

Our Dog Days could not be more different. The Dog Days we have are a blur of exploring, fun and running around. Certainly a lot of activity from all the pups whether playing, sniffing or just rolling in the decreasing remnants of a snow Winter.

The sunshine of late has given a little extra bounce into the steps of both dogs and walkers… adventuring under the rays from the sun, whilst watching the woods burst to life in the space of a few short days.

Driving through Oslo and you could be mistaken for thinking that it is mid Summer….. people out sunbathing in the parks, packed outdoor tables at every cafĂ© and a general air of people emerging from a long cold Winter.
