How do we do what we do?
This is part 2 of a 3 part blog insight into our business. If you have not yet seen it please read “what” from yesterday.
So yesterday in it’s most simplest terms I explained that we are a Dog Walking service based in Oslo.
But how do we do things differently and create our special walks, or Adventures as I prefer to call them?
At the risk of making this blog post far too long I will focus on the three basic principles that we adopt: safety, fun and reliability.
“Safety first” as the saying goes. This in itself covers a broad range of things. Dog compatibility, walk location, whether to have individual dogs loose or on lead, travel to and from the woods, any other people, dogs or animals we might encounter with out in the woods.
By taking fewer dogs per walk than other Oslo dog walkers we are able to offer more freedom and fun to the pups.
So how do we create fun? If my dog compatibility skills are correct then this sorts itself. Location is key to allowing the dogs to explore, play and socialise in a safe setting as we motivate them by throwing objects, running, playing and embracing our own inner-child state (the sense of limitless fun through imagination and play which adults all too often lose as we age). We can be found rolling in the snow, scrambling up slopes, happily ready to fall and laugh in the process.
Lastly of the 3, reliability. Maybe this one should be called consistency. Essentially we fully understand how important your dogs are to you and how much trust it takes to let a stranger come walk your dog. Since 2013 we have hopefully delivered consistent, reliable, high quality adventures to hundreds of Oslo dogs and we are proud of our reputation.
But you are only as good as your last walk and that drives us to innovate, explore and go the extra mile / deliver that little extra.
Tomorrow I will cover the “why?”. Why do we do what we do. So please check back in.
