Wow! Absolutely heavenly hundelufting conditions today out there in Oslo.
You may well have looked out of the window and seen it as a grey rainy day, though it was anything that but that up in the woods. Up in Oslomarka we were just on the correct side of 0 degrees Celsius. And that right there makes all the difference.
Stunning conditions with the city rain coming as snow for the majority of the day up in marka. Wet and heavy but still glorious out there. Easy to form the one-hand snowball, which is perfect for the scoop, mould and throw all in one action.
The dogs were having the time of their lives as they explored and played in the deep snow. For some they were engulfed in snow, swimming up the trails as we climbed to find ever deeper conditions.
There will be some tired pups out there this evening, dreaming sweet snow dreams.
