Fredag 13 januar turer – unlucky Oslo dogwalks

Unlucky Oslo dogwalks, really? No no, not in the slightest and not in my opinion. Nevertheless Friday the 13th is always seen for some as unlucky.

Yet luck is surely a thing of perspective?

Was it unlucky that it was raining all day today? No, it was refreshing and fantastic that there was no one else out in the woods, allowing us to have great adventures. We felt pretty lucky.

Also is it unlucky that after dogwalks you get stuck in Oslo Friday rush hour traffic? No no, after so many years we fully understand that the majority of office workers are aching to escape work on a Friday afternoon. We however had amazing adventures up in Oslomarka all day and therefore a little bit of extra patience is all that is required. More luck on our side.

Additionally is it unlucky that one of my very good friends Richard turns 40 today (happy birthday mate!)? No, your advancing years have only made you wiser (hopefully). Similarly Richard should feel lucky to reach this milestone.

We are all lucky, both humans and dogs. We get to experience the Wonder of Life itself. How much you feel this will depend on your perspective. But I can assure you that your dogs feel undeniably lucky. Channel your inner-dog spirit and live in the Now.

So take 10 seconds, close your eyes, breath in through your nose for 3 and exhale for 7. You’re doing ok, just remember that.

Have a wonderful weekend !
