Wow what a varied last few days we have had here in Oslo resulting in some slush walks with the puppies today. The amazing snowstorm of Friday meant that Saturday was always going to be spectacular up in the woods.
It certainly did not disappoint as I took out my bindinglesss powder board for a rare Oslomarka trip to explore (if any of you saw the Insta story).
Sunday unfortunately followed with unbelievable amounts of rain washing away the light powder snow and leaving a thick slush.
The unusual combo of ice, heavy snow and wet slush lead to an interesting choice of footwear today. Gummistøvler with brodder! (Wellington boots with my ice spikes underneath).
My unusual choice was very much validated by not slipping and also having dry feet throughout the day.
Once up in the Oslo woods, there was more than enough snow remaining for some unbelievable adventures. Your Slush Puppies were absolutely loving the conditions and the wet snow was perfect for snowball making and throwing. Just check out some of the happy faces in the photos below.
