After the storm comes the calm. When the snow finally settles and it is time to go knee-deep in powder fun heaven with the dogs.Â
A day of both dogs and walkers making fresh tracks as we broke trail through the thick white gold lying all around us to access some wonderful untouched spots.
Exhausting work for all but thoroughly thrilling, it is truly a pure joy to be alive on such a day.
And the craziest thing of all is that it is forecast to snow a lot more tomorrow. We will absolutely be making the most of it bearing in mind that rain could be on its way as soon as Sunday.
But live very much for the moment and deal with Sunday when it finally comes around, that is the advice your dog’s would give us.
