Hei og god mandag.
We hope you are all well and that you have had a wonderful weekend.
Bit of a good Monday story for those of you who read this texty waffle….
This afternoon on my adventure we were deep in the woods high up over Oslo… Suddenly I noticed the huge lurking figure of a moose no more than 10 m from myself and the dogs.
She was very calm and curious and started walking towards us slowly in a non-threatening manner.
I maintained eye contact with her (instead of reaching for my mobile phone and thus losing the viral social media moment 🤣)
The doggies remained calm and and were sitting as requested… But as she took a few steps further forward I had no option but to throw a stick in her general direction ensuring it would not hit her but startling her into a retreat.
A truly magnificent animal she jogged off in the opposite direction and continued on her adventure as we explored the opposite way.
A fantastic reminder at the beginning of the walking week just how much raw nature is on our doorstep.
