Onsdag 18 november turer

Hei og god onsdag til dere!

Hopefully your mid-week is going swimmingly.

Well….. it was nice to get through a walking day with full waterproofs. Whilst I have nothing whatsoever against rain…. I do feel I can move quicker and more freely when not decked head to toe in Gore-Tex.

So the lighter, more agile version of me was jumping, scrambling, throwing, jogging, leaping and having a great time with the pups today on my adventures!

A bit of added adventure today. Whilst the sun was beaming down on Oslo this afternoon there was quite a gale going on up in the woods. I was driving back from my afternoon walk (which was a fantastic little adventure exploring my new gorge) looking at the trees swaying in the gust. I was thinking to myself I wonder if any of these might fall down.

Lo and behold I drove around the next corner to find two old boys with saws clearing the road from a fallen tree. Ever the one for a bit of excitement I found my axe and jumped out the van. I approached the old boys with a big smile on my face only to be told that they had now finished. I swallowed my disappointment and applauded their efforts in clearing the road. Just goes to show that there is never a dull day when out on the walks
