Onsdag 11 november turer

Hei og happy onsdag

We hope you are all well and you have had a wonderful Wednesday thus far.

Lovely out there…. good bit of mist still hanging around and very light rain. But that wasn’t going to drizzle on our fun. And fun it was indeed. Managed to check out some trails I’d not been on since pre-Corona as i spotted no cars were parked up at the usual starting point…. so off the dogs and i ventured to my secret trail. It delivered in style!

Right….. last week i promised i was going to do some kit reviews of stuff i have, use and love…. so here comes……. Black Diamond Dirt Bag Gloves!

With Autumn having firmly set in in and the encroachment of Winter and the colder months, it has been time to get out the wet / snow wardrobe and equipment again.

When handling wet dogs leads and long leads it is important to have some amazing hand-wear, more commonly known as gloves.

Now I must admit I have a lot of pairs of gloves depending on how wet and how cold it is. (Easily have 15+ pairs of gloves….. i never throw away the old ones).

One of my firm favourites is the Dirt Bag gloves by Black Diamond. These have a reputation within the ski industry for being great for everything you need to do around the resort, in ski town or even just taking out the bins and handywork.

Durable leather gloves with a lovely wool fleece lining at affordable prices. Slap a bit of Nikwax on the leather and these bad boys will last you a good few years.

I actually just got given a new pair of these for my birthday a little over a month ago and and they do not disappoint. (They are my 3rd pair of Dirt Bags…. the others are still going strong mind you).

Just to be clear I am not affiliated with or sponsored by any of the products I will review for you / chat about…. but if any brands out there want to send me some free stash to review then please do drop me a message.
