Hei og happy tirsdag!
A rather snowy Tuesday all in all. It seems most of Oslo, including those responsible for clearing the roads were left slightly surprised by the sudden arrival of snow this morning.
In certain places like Maridalen it was pretty heavy snow, with 3-5cm falling in just over an hour this morning.
The dogs of course were loving it. New snow meant for fluffy fresh and cold crisp conditions on our early walks as we explored deep in the woods, making fresh tracks which were almost filled in by our return to the vehicles by the end of the walks.
Most Oslo peeps decided to leave their cars at home as the snow fell, and therefore it made for clear roads which could be negotiated slowly and carefully. A little bonus of the fresh snow was the added sense of “grip” underfoot when walking around the city, which i am sure we are most grateful for.
