Our Story

In 2010 I found myself questioning where my life was going. I was based in London, working far too many hours and living for the weekends. I had a job many would dream of getting, and yet I felt empty, restless and in search of adventures.

I decided it was time for a change and moved to Chamonix in the French Alps. Whilst filling my urge for adrenaline, skiing, adventure and nature I met a Norwegian girl.
2.5 years later we moved to Oslo and I set up Who Let The Dogs Out? in 2013, having found a new home in a location offering the perfect balance of adventure, nature and not too big a city.
Since 2013 we’ve been out in Oslomarka Monday to Friday each week, taking groups of doggies on our adventures and exploring the hidden valleys, the secret hills, the less-frequented paths and trails and having great fun.
The more we explore and walk, the more we realise the vast and infinite adventures that lie in wait right on our doorstep.

In October 2014 I was contacted by a 21 year old film maker who read an article (link here) about my journey from Finance to Dog walking….. he wanted to tell my story and make a short film about it, hopefully to inspire others to follow their passions.

During filming, and many many long walks and longer talks together, we became great friends and I am so impressed and proud of this fantastic piece of work….. congratulations Fredrik.

I hope you enjoy watching “Portrait of a Dogwalker” and the way he captured the true beauty and character of many of the dogs we walk.
